Tuesday Cheer

Its been a while since I last put anything on this blog.  This is completely my fault.   I have been quite busy with bits and pieces and have not had a tremendous amount of free time.

The pictures from my exploits in USA will be up soon, I am currently working on some panoramic photographs I took.  Its taking slightly longer than I imagined,  laugh out loud.

Tonight sees a beginners team IRC focus group meeting. Should be interesting and I am optimistic that  some resolutions to the current groups issues will be presented.  I think this week the entire beginners team is going to have a meeting.  I need to confirm.  Not sure if  I will be able to attend, but might be able to.  Play it by ear seems to be the smartest thing to do.  I have also volunteered by time to  help out giving sessions introducing newcomers to open source software.   Still need to draft up a work-flow that the talks will follow.  Hoping to have them done in the next 48 hours.

The weekend was averagely busy.  I went for a run and also played a game of badminton.     I also went to the cinema to see Prince of Persia.  You can certainly tell it was directed by Mike Newell.  Not a bad film though I think it did get a bit ‘silly’ in places.

Monday was a return to normal.   Only major thing I did was go to work.     After work I went to one of my beginners team focus groups meetings.  Turned out better than the last one.  I think the group has turned a corner and is more active than it once was :)

Tonight is quiz night. Last week we came 4th, so I hope we can do at least one better (fingers crossed).
