Monday again,  wonder what kind of week it is going to be…

Well this morning I am supposed to be having a meeting at 10:30 with some clients.   That should take me  all the way up to lunch.  For most this would be perhaps a good thing,  for me its not.    I do not mind meetings but anything over an h0ur is excessive.

Tuesday should be a better day at work.  Going to start on a new online magazine for a new client.  Doing something new is always a good thing.  Looking forward to it.  Going to try and build in some new features.  Development is fun! Should keep me busy for the remainder of the week.

Going into Birmingham on Saturday,  its one of my friends birthday.   Should be interesting.   No idea where we are going or what exactly we are going to do.  I agreed to come last week but have heard nothing since.  I guess I should call around and find out what exactly is happening.  Wouldn’t want to be left behind.  Laugh out loud.

The Ubuntu Beginners Team has undergone some radical changes in the past week.   A bit of a channel move around.   Basically we have elected to close the team social channel due to several problems with members not following the Code of Conduct on IRC.   I don’t know if this is long term or not,  but certainly is the current state of the team channel structure.  Quite a bit of internal team politics too,  this needs to be resolved.  Thankfully the council is working on the political problems the team is experiencing.

I have also been on the search again for music.  Namely the type of music I enjoyed in my youth but played by new bands.  Sadly as the saying goes “All my heroes died”.  Or at least now sound terrible.
